Epic Simile. :) Lets Swim!!

As he stepped out onto the long wet, plastic board, waiting as the cheering grew and the butterflies in his stomach more so. His feet left the board, nothing but air surrounded his tight body, crawling for the dive. Excitement ripping through him then finally cutting into the water. Under for only seconds but he knew what was done, slowly coming up the butterflies still there anticipating his score, he had proudly taken first.

Romeo and Juliet: Act Two

The most interesting part, of part two and even of Romeo and Juliet. is of course, when they first meet. they meet at the Capulet party. where romeo first sees her, quickly hes taken by her beauty and falls in "loves" with her. she doing the same.

later that night he runs to her window and they have sometime go kinda get to know each other. after romeo is going to make her his wife. he goes to friar Lawrence and asks him to marry them. the friar knows that romeo was just in love with Rosaline and is hesitant until he thinks that if the two get married the parents with stop fighting.

Shakespearean Stories! <3

Shakespeare has influenced and given so much to the modern plays and movies. He was a great writer who inspired a lot of people. I really liked the comic strip project. it was much fun.

The play that most fit by the movie had to have been Romeo and Juliet.
With Lysander and Hermia not being able to be together because of Hermia's father and promising her to Demetrius. but also a love triangle because Helena loved Demetrius.

Anticipating Shakespeare

At first understanding the language was rather difficult. but as it went on you kinda got more into it, relating more and understanding of what they were saying. if we had just started off reading it i probably would have been even more lost. watching them, they way they spoke and used body language it was easier to get.

I'm thrilled to be starting romeo and Juliet just because of the era and the romance and silliness behind it. i think it will most defiantly be difficult but the fun and interest wont run out.

The Worst Part Of Animal Farm <3

I think the worst part so far would have to be, hands down. Napoleon killing a few hands full of the supposed "traders". it was so out of the blue and uncalled for. Of course hard for the other animals to have to see that. it was very unnecessary.


I was surprised to read that the others animals came up, even after knowing what was going to happen to them and share what their supposed "crime" was. i was glad to hear though, that snowball still played a roll in the book. so hopeful that will come in soon.

Animal Farm Freewrite <3

I love how the animals can talk and are so independent. they are all they're own characters, just like people. knowing about the Russian Revelation i like guessing and figuring out what animal plays what person. it give the story a little more interest.

I hated that snowball had to leave though. And that Napoleon turned the puppies against snowball. knowing that this story took place in real life, i hope that everyone turns against Napoleon in the end. so far Animal Farm seems to be a really good book.

My Winter Break <3 1/1/09

Over our wonderful winter break, me and my amazing friend Michael made a huge snowman. We also had a great sliding hill that we used to our advantage. Up at the park, close to my house my neighbors made a very creative sculpture in the snow resembling the male genitals. Later on new years my mother and I showed off our sing disabilities by having a Mama Mia sing-a-long.

The holidays are going quite spectacular and will get even better when my sister returns home. :)

My Expectations for High School 12/10/08

I was so scared to come to high school and be the little one again, but after i got here i made so many new friends and learned so many new things. i expected it to be very intimidating and long. i never thought id fit in or any of that. but when i came it was a very nice surprise.

I think my expectations for next year will be a little more spot on. i think it will be about the same, meeting new people, learning new things and being apart of it all. i really love high school and i think it will be a super rewarding experience.

Poetry Out Loud 12/10/08

I didn't really memorise my poem, when I had such a good one to recite. i really like the poem for the fact of its truth and meaning. shes talking about her love for this thing. a great object and how bad she wants is and how wonderful it is.

I think i relate well to this poem because i think its talking about her or the kingdom and I've always thought of being a princess. i love power and most of all the glory. i was drawn in by the diction and speech. i really like this poet and hope to find more.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening 12/4/08

This poem first starts out, talking about these woods that hes watching fill with snow. The woods are dark and peaceful. He doesn't want to live because it seems so easy here. But he knows he has to go. That people are counting on him and he has awhile before he can die.

I really like this poem for its simplicity and meaning. Talking about how nice it would be to go. But knowing he cant and having the will to stay. He just needed a break and took it shortly, while thinking of others.
